The National Monuments Service's description
Not marked on the 1837 or 1913 editions of the OS 6-inch map. On slight SW-facing slope at base of broad hollow in rocky mountain pasture. Views are excellent from SE-S-SW and elsewhere obscured by higher ground. The booley hut consists of a rectangular structure (L E-W 6m; Wth N-S 3.6m) defined by the footings (max H 0.4m; T 0.7m) of a wall of drystone random rubble. The entrance is not recognisable. There is a relic field (SL009-003001-) c.4m NNE. This is a post-1700 AD monument.
