The National Monuments Service's description
The site is orientated NNW-SSE and consists of a narrow compact arrangement of brushwood (L c. 1m; Wth c. 0.3m) with several short obliquely-laid pieces at both edges of the structure. A number of twigs (diam. 0.016-0.038m) were visible. Two oak pegs (L 0.24-0.46m) were noted at the drain face approx. 0.4m from the body of the togher. The lower ends were worked into chisel points. Oak was the dominant species with some birch also present.
