The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 0.7m; Wth 0.69m; D 0.12m) is orientated NNW-SSE and consists of an irregular arrangement of brushwood (diam. 0.0.13-0.03m) in at least seven compact layers. Two pegs occur on the eastern side of the site and a third is set 0.3m beyond the western side of the structure. The pegs (L 0.17-0.55m) lie at angles of 30-80°. The ends have been worked into chisel points. Identified species include oak, ash, hazel and birch, all with bark intact.
