The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 1.6m; Wth 0.6m; D 0.1m) is orientated NNE-SSW and consists of a narrow togher of compact brushwood (diam. 0.005-0.04m) and occasional roundwood (av. diam. 0.06m), a single layer deep. The wood is very fresh with bark intact. Birch and hazel are the predominant species. Several chisel points were recorded.
