The National Monuments Service's description

Described as Caltragh, meaning a burial ground, in italic script on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight W-facing slope. No point is indicated on the map, and no feature could be identified in a field of about 1.5 acres (c. 0.5 ha) of grass and scrub. The field is still known locally as caltragh, but the precise location of any burial ground in this field or in a scrub-covered area of about half an acre (c. 0.25 ha) attached to the NW is not known.
