The National Monuments Service's description
On a SE-facing slope at the E end of the Carnfree ridge, and within the ecclesiastical enclosure (RO028-075004-). Remote sensing (06R81) has recovered evidence of an earlier bivallate enclosure (RO028-075009-) pre-dating the ecclesiastical enclosure and within it. This surrounds an enclosure (diam. c. 50m) which itself is attached in a figure-of-eight to a smaller enclosure (diam. c. 25m) which straddles its perimeter at NE. (Shanahan 2006, 6; Shanahan and McNeary 2009b)
