The National Monuments Service's description

Probably the site of the parish church of Kilverdon, listed as Cloon in Bernan in the ecclesiastical taxation of Elphin in 1306 when it was described as deserted (Cal. doc. Ire., vol. 5, 223), and it is situated on a slight N-facing slope at Kilverdun graveyard (RO023-138001-). There is no evidence of a church. Archaeological testing (02E1518) c. 30-70m to the N failed to produce any related material (Read 2004a).
