The National Monuments Service's description
On a level, low-lying landscape. D-shaped grass and rush-covered area (dims 28.5m N-S; 20.3m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-3.3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1m), which is incorporated into a field and road bank SSE-SSW, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 3.4m; Wth of base 1.8m; D 0.3m) NE-SSE. The monument is truncated by a NW-SE field bank and outer drain at SW. There is no identifiable original entrance.
