On a gentle E-facing slope in a low-lying landscape. It is depicted as a subrectangular embanked enclosure on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map and a D-shaped hachured feature on the 191911 edition. This is a subrectangular grass and scrub-covered area (dims 26.9m N-S; 26.1m E-W) defined by earthen banks with some bushes (Wth 2.5-3.5m generally to 4.7m at W; int. H 0.2-0.5m generally to 1.1m at W; ext. H 0.3m at S to 0.9m at N). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. The earthwork (RO023-140----) is c. 190m to the SW.
