The National Monuments Service's description
At the centre of the N triangular part (dims. c. 1.5km E-W at S; c.1.25km N-S) of Kilglass Lough, c. 400m from every shore. A stony, scrub-covered circular mound (diam. 20.5m N-S) hardly rises above the water, but surrounding reeds indicate a larger mound (diam. c. 50m). There is no indication of artificial construction, but a net-sinker has been recovered from the site (NMI file).
