The National Monuments Service's description

On reclaimed land in marshy ground at the edge of a bay and on the S side of a drain at the SE corner of Lower Lough Gara. Circular overgrown rise (diam. 13m; H 0.4-1.3m) of earth and stone. An iron knife and a quernstone were found at the site, and a dug-out canoe was found tjust o the NE. (Fredengren 2002, App. 1, P 61; No. Kiln 011)
