The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 3.27m; Wth 1.64m; D 0.14m) is orientated E-W and consists of a transverse plank overlain by a second plank, dense longitudinal brushwood and a twig bed (L 0.84; Wth 0.47m). The transverse plank (Wth 0.22m; D 0.03m) is a squared radial. The second plank is a trimmed radial. This site is in good condition but has some machine damage. The main body of the site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains, but an area of poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum lies to the NE. This site has been dendrochronologically dated to 927±9 BC or later (Q10354).
