The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 5m min.; Wth 1.53m; D 0.07m) is orientated NW-SE and consists of four pieces of heavy brushwood laid longitudinally, with lighter brushwood and twigs irregularly dispersed throughout. The light brushwood, in particular, is fragmentary and some have been displaced. An in situ horn core (02E941:15) was recovered from the SE edge of the site. This site is in poor to moderate condition with three chisel points present. It lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Radiocarbon dated to 915-786 cal. BC (Wk-11732).
