The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 3.96m min.; Wth 1.89m min.; D 0.08m) is orientated N-S. It is composed of evenly spaced longitudinal roundwoods, brushwood, a split-timber, twigs and a peg. The split timber (Wth 0.18m) and pegs (diam. 0.02-0.03m) are located on the W side of the site. The roundwoods (diam. 0.06-0.09m) and brushwood (diam. 0.02-0.03m) are grouped 0.4m from the timber. This wood is machine damaged and in poor condition with no evidence of toolmarks. The site is set in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with occasional unidentified reeds.
