The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 1.14m min.; Wth 2.1m; D 0.08m) is orientated NNW-SSE and composed of regularly spaced longitudinal brushwood (diam. 0.03-0.05m), a light roundwood and some twigs. Upper elements appear to have been removed by machine damage. Two metal-cut worked ends are present. The wood is in poor condition and machine damaged. Displaced wood fragments indicate the site may have continued for at least a further 10m to the NNW. It is set in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and large amounts of roots and ericaceous remains.
