The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 30.1m; Wth 2.5m; D 0.05m) is orientated ENE-WSW. It consists of over thirty pieces of mixed brushwood and occasional twigs, which are transversely laid and closely set in a single layer. Longitudinal roundwoods bound the edge of the site at two sightings. The wood is in a moderate condition and metal-cut toolmarks and branch-trimming were noted. It is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. SMR OF018-148---- lies 4.93m SE of the SW extent.
