The National Monuments Service's description
A split stake (L 0.15m min.; Wth 0.05m; D 0.02m) sitting at a 70° angle on the field surface. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument but rather it is an archaeological object.
