The National Monuments Service's description

The site (Wth 1.08m; D 0.12m) is orientated NNE-SSW. It consists of a dense deposit of longitudinally laid light brushwood and twigs in opposing drain faces. Occasional pieces lie at irregular angles. No evidence for woodworking is noted. It is situated in well-humified Sphagnum peat and is overlain by moderately humified Sphagnum peat. It has been radiocarbon dated to cal. AD 1302-1472 (Beta-118029).
