The National Monuments Service's description
Two limestone plaques, probably from tomb surrounds and sculptured in false relief, are incorporated into the outer walls of the Roman Catholic church of St. James, which was built in the 1830s. This piece is high on the E wall over the main entrance and depicts a crucifixion with a very stylized Mary and St John.
