The National Monuments Service's description
Grass-covered mound c. 36m in diam. and nearly 8m in H, 1km SE of the main mound at Newgrange (ME019-045----). Listed as passage-tomb (Herity 1974, 247; O'Kelly 1978, 50).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
