The National Monuments Service's description

In rough pasture, located on level ground bordered immediately to E by a natural rise. Views are good but not extensive.
This monument is not shown on the 1838 and 1917 OS 6-inch maps; it is recorded in an aerial photograph (GSI M 97-8; SMR file).
A raised semicircular area (26.5m NNE–SSW; 16.6m WNW–ESE) defined on the curving side W side by a degraded scarp, and on the straight side to E by a field fence. It may originally have been circular, but no trace of the E half is now evident. A quarry pit (10m E–W; 5m N–S; D 0.7m) has been dug into NW quadrant of the interior. This may be the remains of a rath. It is similar in size and construction to the nearby a rath (MA092-065----) which is located 30m to S.
Immediately to W of this enclosure, there is small subrectangular or roughly D-shaped enclosure (15-16m NE−SW; 6.3m NW−SE), abutting an overgrowth-covered field fence on its NW side. The other three sides are defined by a low stony bank/wall (Wth 1.8m; H 0.3m). The interior appears slightly hollow in the centre. This small enclosure appears to be a late feature.
