The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a low rise in gently undulating pasture.
Named ‘Children’s Grave Yard’ on the 1838 OS 6-inch map and ‘Children’s Burial Ground (Disused)’ on the 1917 edition. Recorded in an aerial photograph (OS 2 4342-3; Roll 216, Pr. 21; SMR file).
The remains consist of a dense, subrectangular concentration (c. 17m NE–SW; c. 15m NW–SE) of low stones. Some of the stones are set upright in the ground; many barely protrude above the sod or appear to simply lie on the surface. At the NNE limits of the spread there is a low, sod-covered irregular-shaped stony mound (MA092-064001-).
