The National Monuments Service's description
Adjacent to a children’s burial ground (MA092-064001-).
Included in the SMR (1991) and RMP (1997) as ‘mounds’ on the basis of a number of small subcircular features visible in an aerial photograph (OS 2 4342-3; Roll 216, Pr. 21; SMR file).
When the area was inspected in 1998, a single low, sod-covered irregular-shaped stony mound (6m WNW–ESE; 4m NNE–SSW; H 0.4-0.8m) was noted at the NNE edge of the children’s burial ground. It may be a grave but more closely resembles a field clearance heap. No other mounds are evident.
