The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, prominently located on a hillock, with a steep fall of ground to S, W and N and S.
Depicted on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a circular embanked enclosure (diam. 15-20m), and on the 1917 edition as a small hachured feature (diam. c. 10-15m) encircling a trigonometrical point (455ft).
The S–W slope of the hillock was entirely quarried away in the past, and this area has been levelled out and grassed over. The top of the hillock has been graded, and a concrete water tank now occupies the summit, possibly overlying the site of the enclosure.
This monument may have been a form of barrow, perhaps similar to the mound barrow (MA092-033----), located c. 800m to SE in the same townland, or the mound barrow (MA092-012----) located c. 500m to NW, but insufficient above ground evidence survives to confirm this.
