The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, prominently sited on top of a ridge, at the break of slope on the steeply falling ENE side, with very good views. Overlooked at WSW by a natural hillock-like rise on the ridge top.
Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a small circular enclosure (diam. c. 10-15m); not shown on later map editions. There is no visible trace at ground level.
