The National Monuments Service's description

Located in a cashel (MA072-089----), adjacent to the enclosing wall at SW.
A pit or depression (diam. c. 3m; D c. 1m) is evident on the line of the enclosing wall of the cashel. A stone lintel is visible in the NE side of the pit, set 0.5m below interior ground level of the cashel. It covers a subterranean passage (Wth 0.55m; H 0.4m) of drystone construction.
