The National Monuments Service's description
Located in the S half of a cashel (MA072-067001-). Indicated as ‘Souterrain’ on the 1930 OS 6-inch map. The location of the souterrain is evident as two adjacent areas of grassed-over surface collapse. According to local information, it consists of a drystone passage roofed with large flat slabs.
