The National Monuments Service's description

Located in a rath (MA072-036----), which was levelled in the 1980’s. According to local information, there is a souterrain in the rath interior: It was described as a passage of drystone walls and lintel roofing, which extended for ‘15-20 yards’ [14-18m] and ended in an area of collapse.
