The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located, close to the break of slope at the E end of a ridge. There are somewhat restricted views to W along the broad undulating top of the ridge, and extensive views to southwards over a broad sweep of lowland pasture.
Roughly circular platform (30.2m NW-SE; c. 33m NE–SW) defined by a scarp. It is bisected NE of centre by a field fence. To SW of the fence, the rath scarp (H 1.1m at S, 0.7m at WSW) remains well defined and is enclosed SE–NW by a fosse (Wth 2.7m) with an external bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.95m); the external bank is incorporated into a later field fence at SE. To NE of the fence, the scarp has been levelled, visible now only as a slight rise, and the fosse and outer bank cannot be traced.
Two linear grassed-over hollows (L 10m N-S) in the S and W of the interior may be the remains of a collapsed souterrain (MA071-114001-).
Several areas of erosion reveal that the rath is constructed of sandy/gravelly soil.
There is a rath (MA071-113----) 175m to WSW and another (MA071-052001-) 250m to N.
