The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, in gently undulating terrain. Ground rises slightly to S. Overlooked to SW by a low ridge. There is a farmyard immediately to NW.
This enclosure is not indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; it is shown on the 1931 edition as a D-shaped hachured area, with the straight side at NW.
The remains consist of a slightly raised semicircular area (28.7m NE–SW; 11.4m NW-SE. It is defined on the curving side at NE−E arc by a scarp (H 1.6m) adapted to serve as a field fence, at E–S by a cropmark and at SW by a slight undulation. It is bordered on straight side to NW by a scarp created by quarrying in the modern era. According to local information, the enclosing element originally consisted of a ‘sod fence’ with no stones.
