The National Monuments Service's description
In a rath (MA071-146----). The rath has been levelled and the interior area has been greatly disturbed. A raised area roughly NE of centre has been partly dug away exposing a lintelled opening (Wth 0.86m; H 0.25m) to a souterrain passage (Wth 1.05m) of dry-stone construction with lintel roofing. The passage extends to WNW for several meters but then is blocked with collapsed earth. A possible creepway opening to SW is visible at the point of blockage.
