The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on a ridge with very good views at N-E, somewhat restricted at S−W by a gentle rise in the spine of the ridge. The ridge is skirted by a river 300m to SW and by a stream 300m to NE.
Roughly circular platform (31.2m N−S; 30m E−W) defined by a bank/scarp, outside which it is enclosed by a fosse.
The bank remains well defined at NE−SE (Wth 3.7m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.3m, at E), but is reduced to a scarp (ext. H 0.7m at S, 1.7m at N) elsewhere around the circuit. At E it is incorporated into a field fence which extends beyond the rath to N. The scarp is adapted to serve as a property boundary at SE−W, where it is topped by a post and wire fence and engulfed in gorse. The fosse is evident as a depression (Wth c. 3m; ext. D 0.7m) at S−W; here stones protruded from the slope of the fosse and it has a low stony external lip (Wth 1m) –these features are likely to be the result of modification in the modern era. The fosse becomes increasing shallow (Wth 2m) at W−N, and is not discernible on the E half.
There is no clearly defined entrance; a narrow break at SSE is used by cattle. A low, tumbled field wall on a NW−SE axis crosses the SW part of the interior.
The interior is grassy; the bank is ringed with gorse.
