The National Monuments Service's description

In the NW quadrant of a rath (MA071-054001-). This souterrain is shown as ‘Cave’ on the NW perimeter of the rath on the 1838 and 1931 OS 6-inch maps. Several small surface openings in the NW part of the rath interior provide glimpses into a subterranean passage. The largest opening (Wth 0.75m; H 0.2m) is towards on the external slope of the rath scarp at NNW, revealing a passage with dry stone walls and lintel roofing, which extends to SSE through the rath interior.
