The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, in gently undulating terrain, with a stream 150m to S.
A circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 20m), slightly truncated on its S edge by an E−W field boundary, is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; by the time of the 1922 edition it is depicted as a semicircular hachured area (diam. c. 20m N−S) curving SSW−N, and incorporated at N into an E-W field boundary.
The remains consist of a curving stone bank/scarp (Wth 3.4m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.5m) composed of a jumble of stones and boulders, partly sod-covered, and largely obscured by blackthorn and hazel scrub. The stone bank describes a shallow arc (diam. c. 20m N−S) SSW−NNE, coinciding at W with a natural fall of ground. At NNW−NNE it is incorporated into an E−W field wall, which appears to retain its curve. The E half of the enclosure has been levelled, and there is no trace of its outline at ground level.
