The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on a low rise in sharply undulating terrain, with good but not extensive views. Located close to the SW boundary of the townland.
This rath is indicated as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. It has been truncated by a field fence on the NW side, and is evident now as a raised, roughly D-shaped area or platform (18.5m NE−SW; c. 14m NW−SE) defined on the curving side by a scarp, and on the straight side at NW by a field fence. The scarp is low, with a slight, sod-covered internal stony lip (Wth c. 2m), more prominent at NE, and a broad external slump (ext. H 1.1m at NE, 1.3m at SW; 0.5m at SE.). The interior is flat, but there is a slight slump or depression along the line of the field fence at NW.
