The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on top of a ridge, at its N end. Ground falls away to E, with gentler slopes to N and W. The location provides good views, especially N–E.
This possible rath is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a circular ringfort-like enclosure (diam. 25-30m). It is not shown on the 1930 edition, but a curving field boundary is indicated at the location. The E arc of the enclosure may be preserved in the line of an overgrowth-covered field fence, which curves NE–SE; otherwise, there is no visible trace at ground level.
