The National Monuments Service's description

In damp pasture, located on the S side of a low rise, adjacent to the Fiddaunglass stream that flows into the River Deel c. 40m to E.
A sub-circular mound (diam. 9.5m; H 0.75m) of heat-shattered stone fragments in charcoal-rich soil, with a slight indentation (Wth 2m), possibly indicating the position of the trough, on NE side facing the stream. The mound has a covering of moss and sod, and shallow furrow-like grooves traverse the top surface on a N-S axis. One in a linear cluster of fulachtaí fia/burnt mounds (MA038-203--- to MA038-208----) located along the course of the stream.
