Compact, moss-covered, kidney-shaped mound (12.2m N-S; 9m E-W; H 0.55m) with a rush-grown indentation or depression (Wth 2m), probably indicating the position of the trough, on W side facing the stream. One in a linear cluster of fulachtaí fia/burnt mounds (MA038-203--- to MA038-208----) located along the course of the stream. Fulacht fia (MA038-203) lies 20m to S and fulacht fia (MA038-208) is c. m to N.
