The National Monuments Service's description

Located in rough, poorly drained pasture, 5m E of the Fiddaunglass stream, a tributary of the River Deel.
Irregular-shaped mound (8m E-W; 4m N-S; H 0.8m) cut through on its N side by a field drain bordered on its S edge by a field bank. Immediately to the N of the drain is a discrete concentration of hazel scrub, possibly concealing further remnants of the mound. One in a linear cluster of fulachtaí fia/burnt mounds (MA038-203--- to MA038-208----) located along the course of the stream.
