The National Monuments Service's description

In damp pasture, located adjacent to a natural spring, named ‘Tobernagawna’ on 1922 OS map.
A low, irregular rise (diam. c. 6m), with an uneven sod and moss-covered surface, lies on the N side of a NNE-SSW field ditch/drain (D 0.4m). The mound is truncated on its S edge by the drain, and appears to incorporate upcast from the drain, making it difficult to determine its original plan and dimensions. A layer of shattered stone in a charcoal-rich matrix is visible at the base of both section faces of the drain. A low field bank, topped with a post and wire field fence, borders the N side of the field drain.
Another burnt mound (MA038-187----) is 20m to SSE.
