The National Monuments Service's description
In average pasture, on a low rise on top of an E−W ridge, with good views.
Slightly raised, sub-circular area (26m N-S; 27m E-W) enclosed by a bank. The bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1m to SE; 1.35m to NE) varies in width (Wth 1.8m to NW; 2.6m to SE), and is faced with stones. The stone facing may be a relatively late modification, resulting from the incorporation of the enclosure into later field walls. There is a local tradition that the enclosure was built several generations past for use as a cattle corral, but it could be a rath that was modified and reused in the modern era.
