The National Monuments Service's description
In level machair, on a slight rise broken on its S side by low rock-outcroping. Bailey Beg mound (MA023-014031-) is 65m to N and Bailey Mór mound (MA023-014003-) is 75m to S.
A flat, roughly circular area (diam. 5m) is outlined by a gapped, irregular ring of stones. The stones (H 0.2m) barely protrude above ground level, and represent the scant remnants of a wall, but exhibit no masonry/built structure. The largest gap (Wth 2m) is at E. The nature of this monument is uncertain; it may be the remnants of a small enclosure or possibly a house. It is a National Monument in state ownership (379).
