The National Monuments Service's description
Located at the base of the S-facing slope of Bailey Mór mound (MA023-00400-).
Henry (1951, 66) found this cross ‘at the foot of the Bailey Mór, on the S. side’ and described it as ‘a small, flat cross, which must have had a width of 1 ft 4 ins. [c. 0.4m] across the arms when complete.’ Her published photograph (ibid. Pl. XI; Cross 7) shows a small, thin slab roughly shaped to form a cross. One arm is almost entirely broken off; the other is short, barely protruding from the shaft.
It was not located during an inspection of the area in 2022.
