The National Monuments Service's description
In wet pasture to W of Galtee Mountain range and 320m E of the River Aherlow that marks the townland boundary with Ballyfauskeen. Enclosure (LI057-017----) lies 200m to SE. It is depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised, oval-shaped area (dims. c. 27m NW-SE; 24m NE-SW) defined by a scarp, intersected at E by a field boundary running NW-SE. Outline of monument delimited by trees is visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
