The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture to W of Galtee Mountain range and 460m E of the River Aherlow that marks the townland boundary with Ballyfauskeen. Enclosure (LI057-016----) lies 200m to NW. It is depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised, sub-circular-shaped area (dims. c. 27m NE-SW; 24m E-W) defined by a scarp with external fosse from NE-SE that is incorporated into a field boundary from SE-SW. Intersected at SE by a field boundary running NW-SE. Outline of monument delimited by trees and bushes is visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
