The National Monuments Service's description
In wet pasture, 50m N of a watercourse. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a circular enclosure. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised oval-shaped area (dims. c. 32m NW-SE; 28m NE-SW) defined by a scarp with an external fosse from S-N-E and an external bank from NW-N-E. Intersected at S by a field boundary running N-S that curves around monument from S-W-N-E. Intersected at E by field boundary running N-S. Outline of monument delimited by trees and bushes is visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
