The National Monuments Service's description

In wet pasture at edge of conifer plantation and 40m S of a stream that marks the townland boundary with Ballylanders. Enclosure (LI049-184----) lies 200m to NE. Not depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised roughly oval-shaped area (dims. c. 35m NW-SE; 20m NE-SW) defined by a scarp. Truncated at E by a field boundary running NW-SE. Monument is visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2019. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 21/06/2021.
