The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture 280m N of the Morningstar River that marks the townland boundary with Glenlary and 90m W of the townland boundary with Mitchelstowndown East. A possible barrow (LI049-012----) lies 145m to the S. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a possible low cairn (Strip Map 4 Site 4/29) on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2576) taken 03/11/1984. Faint trace of possible earthwork visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
