The National Monuments Service's description

In reclaimed pasture 125m E of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Mitchelstowndown East. Enclosure (LI049-015----) lies 85m to S. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a possible ovoid enclosure during examination of Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2557; Site No. 258) taken 03/11/1984. Visible as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. c. 20m) enclosed by a bank on Digital Globe orthophotos taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
