In modern coniferous forest plantation, 165m S of Barranahown River that forms townland boundary with Moorestown. One of three standing stones (LI048-065002/004-) located in N quadrant of earthwork (LI048-065001-) associated with farm building depicted on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Not depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. Annotated ‘Pillar Stones’ on the Cassini ed. OSi 6-inch map. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages (Grogan 1989, 270).
